With hiking and bike trails, as well as SA Forest Adventures in Constantia, which is home to one of Africa’s highest and longest zip line tours stretching for over 2.3 km! This being one of South Africa’s top rated adventures to experience. With so much to explore, everyone is sure to indulge in what Constantia has to offer. Given that Constantia has a country-side feel to it, it is the ideal space to make for a quiet working environment. Sophisticated, in design, Constantia Emporium (situated on Cnr Ladies Mile, Spaanschemat River Rd), is quite a favourite amongst locals to do their daily grocery shopping. This is a small shopping centre with a Woolworths Food and one of the most beautiful Checkers stores that has a delicious variety of fresh foods. You will also find Gary Rom hair studio and other skin care salons, as well as Wellness Warehouse and Clicks within the same centre. Also further down Spaanschemat River Rd lies The Constantia Village shopping mall if you are looking for more variety in terms of shops. There are also a number of other small shops and centres within this suburb.
Although there are a number of known incidents that occur, Constantia is still considered one of the safest suburbs in Cape Town.
Constantia is home to some top rated schools such as Reddam House Constantia, Constantia Waldorf School, Constantia Pre School, Constantiaberg Pre-Primary, and Constantia Primary. As well as a number of other wonderful schools in the area.
