If you’re looking for an exclusive, tranquil work space, where you will feel like you’re on a permanent holiday, this is the place to be! This suburb is family friendly and has a blend of young upcoming professionals and older people that take good care in the upkeep of this beautiful neighbourhood!
Some of the apartment blocks have gorgeous gardens and pools where you can relax for hours while the children play, otherwise the promenade and the beautiful beaches of Clifton are just a stone’s throw away.
Take a 5 minute walk down to Main Road in Sea Point, and this is where you will find all the grocery shops you may need. As well as the state of the art BUC fitness club which is located in the Point Mall. Here you might be lucky to meet a number of celebrities too! The list is endless when it comes to finding an incredible coffee shop or restaurant for face-to-face or online work meetings! With Bootleggers being a favourite coffee spot amongst locals! (The wifi is great here too!). During lunch time, Jarryd’s is quite possibly the busiest restaurant in Sea Point, and is good value for money! If you follow a plant based diet, there are plenty of restaurants in Sea Point that are either fully plant based (such as Scheckter’s RAW), or ones that offer some delicious options on their menu.
Bantry Bay is generally a very safe area. However, it’s best not to go strolling around at night and do keep your belongings with you at all times while on the beach or have someone keep an eye on them for you. It is quite a common occurrence for bags to be stolen while having a dip, especially at Saunders Rocks.
As with Sea Point, there are a number of schools in the area, including Sea Point Montessori and The Cape Town French School also known as the François Le Vaillant French international school. Camps Bay Primary and High School is also down the road.
